Dr. Nikol Kurziak Provides Compassionate Dental Care

Dr. Nikol Kurziak is the owner of Greenwood Dental Care, and a long-term fixture in our community. She was drawn to dentistry by a love for people and the profound impact that oral health has on an individual's overall well-being. She finds great fulfillment in helping her patients become healthier, more confident version of themselves.

Dr. Kurziak earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and her doctorate from the Marquette University School of Dentistry. For nearly 30 years, she has dedicated her career to serving the Lake County area, combining her extensive clinical experience with a compassionate, personal approach to patient care.

Dr. Kurziak believes that a visit to dental practice should be a welcoming and informative experience. She and her team are committed to helping patients understand the vital connection between oral and systemic health, ensuring that every individual feels empowered and thoroughly informed throughout their treatment.

Her dedication to clear communication ensures that her patients always feel heard and well-cared for. With her conservative approach to dentistry and gentle, steady hands, she has made Greenwood Dental Care the most trusted dental practice in the Waukegan and Gurnee areas.

Outside of the office, Dr. Kurziak is a longtime resident of Gurnee and values time spent with her husband and their three children. She is an avid traveler who loves exploring new cities and cultures. Whether she is cruising the Great Lakes or planning her next international adventure, she brings a sense of curiosity and enthusiasm to her life and her work. Her goal is to one day complete a motorcycle tour across Europe to explore the lands of her heritage.

We had such a wonderful experience at this dental office! From the very beginning, the scheduling process was easy, organized, and welcoming. The entire staff creates such a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that immediately made us feel comfortable. I especially appreciated how patient and kind they were with my kiddos during their cleanings. The team made sure they felt relaxed and comfortable the whole time, which means so much as a parent. My husband and I also had very thorough exams, and the dentist took the time to explain everything clearly and create a game plan for our next steps instead of making us feel rushed. You can truly tell they care about their patients and want the best for your family’s dental health. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a caring, professional, and trustworthy dental office!

If I was having a problem they would step back and let me get my bearings back and my thoughts outta my head! And April the support pup will also help you relax. She does a great job!
